Significant Buying in IT and Consumer Discretionary Stocks Supported Broader NZ Market

The broader NZ market ended the trading session in green as buying was witnessed in the IT, Consumer Discretionary as well as Communications Services stocks, among others. Notably, NZX 50 Index rose by 0.17% to 13,321.99 and NZX 20 Index rose 0.18% to 8,435.77. Also, NZX All Information Technology increased by 1.61%.

Performance of Indices:

NZX 50 Index ended at 13,321.99, reflecting ~12.33% rise in the past 1 year. Notably, MidCap Index and SmallCap Index closed at 6,740.89 and 23,239.69 points, respectively.

Gainers and Losers:

Bremworth Limited (NZX: BRW) made an announcement about Board approving the establishment of the Bremworth Equity Ownership Plan as well as Bremworth Share Option Scheme that the eligible employees could be invited to participate in.

Evolve Education Group Limited (NZX: EVO) rose by 7.04% to NZ$0.760 per share. Also, Kathmandu Holdings Limited (NZX: KMD) increased 4.26% to NZ$1.470 per share.
