Scott Farquhar is a 40-year entrepreneur hailing from Western Sydney. He is the co-founder and co-CEO of the collaboration software company, Atlassian. He presently co-leads a business that has 174k customers and reports A$600 million in revenue each quarter.

Melanie Perkins & Cliff Obrecht

Melanie Perkins & Cliff Obrecht are the co-founders of Canva. The Company’s journey started in 2007 at the time when Melanie Perkins was a student at the University of Western Australia. With an idea for an online tool to create school yearbooks, Melanie Perkins & Cliff Obrecht took a loan and involved great tech team in building Fusion Books, which is still going strong. Canva has seen a considerable surge in the number of users with the figure crossing the 30 million mark.

Nicholas Molnar

Nicholas Molnar is the co-founder and global chief revenue officer of Afterpay Limited (ASX:APT).  Nicholas, along with the other co-founders, started Afterpay six years ago. The technology company provides innovative payments option for customers to buy now and pay later through fortnightly interest-free payments.

Cameron Adams

Cameron Adams is the co-founder and chief product officer of Canva (graphic design platform). He is a law and computer science graduate from Melbourne University and had worked with Google Maps team under its creator, Lars Rasmussen. He is also amongst the board members of competitive video gaming platform Esports Mogul (ASX:ESH).

Laurence Escalante

Laurence Escalante is the founder of Virtual Gaming Worlds. Starting in 2010, the Company is now amongst the most successful technology start-ups in Australia. Virtual Gaming Worlds is the creator of online social games and offers engaging and entertaining gameplay that delights millions of customers.

Laurence had an idea to start this business while he was playing multiplayer online role-playing games like World of Warcraft with his mates. At that time, he wished players to play and also win prizes.

New Entrant in the Young Rich List - Zoë Foster Blake

In 2020, Zoë Foster Blake made her entry in the list of 100 young wealthy entrepreneurs in Australia. Ms Blake is a skincare entrepreneur with an estimated net worth of A$36 million. During the pandemic, the self-care market witnessed a boom and led to a significant rise in Ms Blake’s wealth. Ms Blake launched Go-To in 2014. The brand went global in 2018 when it was launched in the US.
