Fission 3.0 Corp. is a junior mining company focused on uranium resources and operates in the energy sector. The company was incorporated as a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of Fission Uranium Corp. in October 2013. In the following month, the company underwent a plan of arrangement with Alpha Mineral and the parent organization wherein it became an independent entity.
In addition, it owned certain projects and assets of the parent company. The Kelowna-based miner is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, evaluation and development of uranium properties, primarily the ones located in the prolific Athabasca Basin, Canada.
The company identifies high-impact projects and as a single operator leverages it technical expertise to develop and de-risk the acquired projects for future sale. The uranium project generator currently has 14 projects in its property bank/ portfolio, which can be broadly divided on the basis of areas, within the Basin:
• PLS Areas Projects – The PLS area is host to various key uranium discoveries, such as the Triple R, Cluff Lake, Shea Creek, and Arrow. Reportedly, this area is an emerging uranium district. Fission operates three projects covering a cumulative land area of 92,718 hectares with potential for near-surface uranium mineralization.

• Key Lake Road Projects – The Key Lake region lies in eastern Athabasca and runs operating mines and mills. The company holds four projects in this area, which enjoy well-established infrastructure and a road network.

• Beaverlodge Area Projects – The Beaverlodge area is a historic uranium district that hosted 52 mines and 12 open pit deposits during the 1950s to 1960s.
