The company’s founding geologists, David Underwood and Jon Andrew, reviewed Osino’s exploration strategy between 2016 and 2017, resulting in shifting the company’s focus from the small known prospects to potentially larger, deposit-scale prospects by exploration targeting through fundamentals of orogenic gold deposits.

In 2020, the company concluded two important financings and commenced a large-scale drill program using diamond drill rigs and 9 RC, focusing on resource definition at its flagship project -- Town Hill Central (THC). Osino discovered new resources through step-outs at brownfields exploration targets along the strike to the west and east of THC.
