Earlier known as Aldever Resources Inc, the company was rebranded in 2020, following which its ticker on TSXV was changed from ‘ALD’ to ‘KIP’. It is also listed on the OTCPINK under the symbol “ALDVF” and on the Frankfurt Exchange under the symbol “17G1”.
On November 10, 2015, the exploration company acquired a complete stake in the Urban Barry gold project based in Quebec. The company bought the project by issuing 129,629 common shares to the vendor and a cash payment reportedly.
The mineral exploration and development firm, on July 5, 2017, reportedly amended its option agreement for this project and further announced that the project was returned to the option holder.
Kiplin Metals acquired Nadina Mountain Creek property situated in British Columbia through an option agreement to acquire a 100 per cent stake in the project in November 2017. Under the agreement, the firm claims to have issued 277,777 common stocks, a cash payment of $505000 and a $200,000 in exploration expenditures within five years. In addition, its interest in the property represents one per cent royalty payment to the vendor.
On September 3, 2020, the company acquired its flagship project, Exxeter Gold Property, situated in Quebec, Canada. The project covers a land area of 715 hectares in Van d’Or Quebec and 3.8 kilometers of the Cadillac Tectonic zone. The company’s interest is subjected to one per cent NSR payable to the vendor.
The project is reportedly one of the world’s most prominent gold camps that produced 113.4 million ounces of yellow metal by 2019, the mineral exploration company claims.
The miming firm conducted an exploration program on the project in 2016 where soil sampling at 200 meter spacing were made. It reportedly collected 167 samples which appeared to be related to six sub-parallel structures related to the Cadillac Fault, as interpreted by a 2016 magnetometer survey and a 2017 IP survey. In addition, the firm conducted a follow-up soil sampling at 25 meter spacing.
