The firm says that the nickel and cobalt discoveries show similar characteristics to those found at Dumont Nickel Deposit.

The project has access to Highway 655, rail, power, water supply, and established mining communities in Cochrane and Timmins, thus reflecting an efficient infrastructure reportedly.

Canada Nickel has established a fully owned subsidiary NetZero Metals Inc. Through this subsidiary, it aims to produce cobalt, nickel, and iron with no carbon emissions.

The exploration entity has applied for the following trademarks:

• NetZero Cobalt
• NetZero Iron

In a bid to convert Crawford into a zero-Carbon footprint operation site, Canada Nickel claims to explore several technologies.

The firm says that under a preliminary economic assessment report it has been demonstrated that the project shows strong financial returns based significant upside potential in the form of robust economies, large scale production and long mine life, low cost and highly profitable operations.

In 2020, the mining company says that the nickel supply was concentrated in three countries: New Caledonia, Philippines and Indonesia.
