Metates project

It is the firm’s wholly owned project located in Durango state, Mexico. Metates hosts disseminated silver and gold deposits.

It is situated approximately 175 KM northeast of Mazatlán in Durango state.

As per some studies, the firm claims that proven and probable reserves stands at around 18 million gold ounces, 500 million silver ounces and over four billion pounds of zinc.

M3 Engineering & Technology of Tucson, Arizona, finished a pre-feasibility study of project in 2013.

The mining firm says that zinc is restored from the pressure oxidation solutions through solvent extraction methods to develop high-grade zinc deposits.

Chesapeake acquired Alderley Gold Corp in January 2021. It is a private mining technology company based in British Columbia.

With the possession of Alderley, the company claims to have received access rights to a proven and sulfide heap leaching technology.

Chesapeake Gold Corp focuses on advancing the Metates project towards development and production by utilizing the technology.

Talapoosa project

It is a quartz-adularia type epithermal gold-silver property situated east of Reno, Nevada.

On this property, eight mining companies have hosted development and exploration and drilled 564 holes to a depth of 71,000 meters that are associated with extensive metallurgical test work and environmental studies since 1997.

In 1996, Miramar Mining Corporation finished its feasibility study on the Talapoosa property.

The property is divided into sulfide and oxide mineralization.

The oxide mineralization is located near the surface in Bear Creek Zone and Main Zone, and the sulfide mineralization lies in the depth of Bear Creek Zone.
