CF Energy Corp., earlier known as Changfeng Energy Inc., is a Canada-based energy supplier and natural gas distribution corporation that operates in the regulated utility industry. Mr. Lin Huajun, former chairman and chief executive officer of the company, founded it in 1995 to supply natural gas.

The Markham-based utility company distributes and supplies natural gas to different customer groups, including residents, commercial users and industries throughout the People’s Republic of China. Since 2008, CF Energy Corp has been listed on the Toronto Venture Stock Exchange (TSXV), its common stock trading under the ticker CFY.

In 2009, the company was among the Top Ten Most Influential Brands that operates in the Natural Gas Industry across China. It was listed as one of the 2019 Top 50 Corporations on the TSXV. CF Energy has evolved and diversified its business operations from a pure-play natural gas supplier to an integrated energy distribution corporation.

The company has extended and directed its focus towards multiple areas in the utility industry: Natural gas direct transmission -- The natural gas business division includes urban gas service, automobile gas station infrastructure and natural gas point-to-point supply.

Gas pipeline installation and connection services -- The installation division includes natural gas generation and transportation projects to support industrial users.

Integrated renewable energy and smart energy -- With its smart energy business, the company is focused on the development of integrated smart energy projects to save energy and minimize carbon emissions.

Liquified natural gas trading -- The company provides a spot trading center for LNG according to standard trading agreements and contracts for national and international trading. The project portfolio of CF Energy Corp includes the operational projects and those under development:

• Compressed Natural Gas Automobile Refueling Station, Changsha City.

• Xiangdong Piped Natural Gas Distribution Project, Pingxiang City.

• Liquified Natural Gas/ Compressed Natural Gas Automobile Refueling Station, Sanya City.
