Wine-maker Fresh Grapes LLC (VINE) is all set to launch its initial public offering (IPO) in the US. 

The company had filed for the IPO on Nov 11, and it is expected to open on Dec 14, 2021. 

The company plans to trade in NYSE under the ticker symbol VINE.

It will offer 2,200,000 shares of common stock and additional 330,000 shares for underwriters.

The offering price range is between US$9.00 to US$10.00 per share. 

The total share outstanding will be 12,200,013 shares after the IPO. But it will increase to 12,530,013 after incorporating underwriters purchase, if executed in full, as per the prospectus.

Fresh Grapes offers luxury but affordable gluten-free wine. It is a low carb and low-calorie product with a taste profile of a premium wine brand. 

The company was co-founded by actresses Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough in 2019. It currently employs 12 people.

What does Fresh Grapes LLC do?

The Plymouth, Minnesota-headquartered company produces low-calorie premium wines. It offers crisp and creamy wine representing warmth, wellness, and a healthy lifestyle. 

The company sells its products through wholesale, retail, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels. It sells its products in 50 US states and Puerto Rico. In addition, it has the license to market its products in 42 states under the direct-to-consumer channel. Fresh Grapes wine is also available at Walgreens, Food Lion, Total Wine, 7-11, and Hy-Vee.

Financial performance:

For the nine months ended September 30, 2021, its net revenue was US$1.05 million compared to US$0.115 million for the same period in 2020.

The net loss for the first nine months of this year was US$8.09 million against a net loss of US$0.919 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
