Founded in 1834 by John Marston, Marston’s Plc is a UK-based pubs and beer brewing company. The company has over 9,400 employees and a diverse portfolio of more than 1,350 pubs and bars that offers something special to every customer. The company operates 21 pubs and bars. In North England, it operates 375 pubs and bars, of which 13 are located in City Center, along with 225 rooms, 1 brewing and four distribution centers and depots. Across Midlands, it operates 630 pubs and bars of which six are located in City Center, 494 rooms, two brewing and three distribution centers and depots. In Wales, it operates 104 pubs and bars and 159 rooms. In South England, it operates 235 pubs and bars, of which 7 are located in City Center. The company’s shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange since 1947 as LON: MARS.

In 2020, the company disposed of its brewing operations by selling its infrastructure to a newly formed joint venture with the Carlsberg Group and floated the Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company. Marston’s now holds a 40% interest in CMBC and rest the 60% will be hold by Carlsberg UK. CMBC now offers its customers with a diverse portfolio of Lagers, Ales and Craft beer brands. Its Lagers brand include Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, Poretti, and Carlsberg Export. Its Premium cask and packaged ales brand include Hobgoblin, 61 Deep, Tetley’s, Marston’s Pedigree and Wainwrigh. Further, its License brand includes Estrella Damm, Erdinger, San Miguel, Shipyard, Mahou, Kirin and Warsteiner. The company’s portfolio of breweries includes Banks’s Brewery, Carlsberg Brewery in Northampton, Eagle Brewery, Jennings Brewery, London field brewery, Marston’s brewery, Ringwood brewery and Wychwood Brewery.
