The Warehouse Group Limited (NZX:WHS) recently announced the appointment of their new Non-Executive Director, Rachel Tauleli. It was further added that she will immediately take charge for the mentioned designation.
The announcement further revealed that Tauleli is the CEO of an associate business from the Wakatu Corporation, known as Kono, which is a family-owned organization. Kono NZ manufactures and exports beverage and food items; natural fruit bars, seafood, craft beers being some of the top-rated products.

Ms. Tauleli is currently the chairperson for the Apec Busines Advisory Council of New Zealand and in her previous experiences, she has founded Yellow Brick, which is a green seafood producer, been the Trade commissioner for the US as well as been on the Advisory Council for Business to the Prime Minister.
Joan Withers, the chairperson for The Warehouse Group is thrilled to have Ms. Tauleli on board and is of the view that through her extensive experience as the CEO of local businesses besides having been a part of prestigious councils with major exposure of the retail sector, she will be an asset to the organisation. She will compliment the strengths of the current members of the team in order to help create the best results for the Company in the long run.
Ms. Tauleli shall be a part of the board meeting to be held on the 24th of February 2021. She will also represent herself for election in the Annual Shareholder’s meeting, which is to be held in the month of November.
