PGF Funding for Foxton renewal

NZ Government has unveiled a project for restoring Horowhenua town of Foxton. It will get an investment of NZD 3.86 million through Provincial Growth Fund.

The funding will be used to make the well-known holiday town even more attractive for visitors by building more amenities. The fund will be used for dredging and riparian planting on the Foxton River Loop section of the Manawatu. It will create employment opportunities and accelerate planning for the next phase of Foxton's regeneration project.
