On 03 July 2020, NZ reported no new cases of Covid-19. However, the fears of a second wave of COVID-19 cases is surrounding NZ after the country ended all pandemic related restrictions.

Moreover, 2 new cases were reported on 2 July 2020 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,180 as reported to WHO.

There are a total of 18 active cases in New Zealand; all of them are in isolation or quarantine facilities. The total number of tests completed till 03 July 2020 is 409,032, with 3,703 tests completed on 02 July 2020.
