Government to Increase Cashflow Support for SMEs

Amid the COVID-19 economic shock, the NZ government will now provide interest-free loans for a year to small businesses to meet their immediate cashflow requirements.

As per the Minister of Finance and Minister of Revenue, Small Business Cashflow Loan Scheme will offer assistance of up to $100,000 to companies employing 50 or less full-time employees.

Grant Robertson said it is clear that the available support to SME is not enough to meet their needs, so the government is providing this new scheme to meet the cash flow demands of these businesses.
