Downer Wins South Australian Road Maintenance Contracts

Downer EDI Limited (NZX:DOW) has secured road maintenance contracts by the South Australian Government Department of Planning, Transport, and Infrastructure (DPTI) valued at about $420 million over a maximum term of thirteen years.

  • The contract will start on 2 November 2020 with an initial seven-year term with two extension options of three years plus three years;
  • The new contracts would result in the company expanding the services it provides to DPTI and maintaining 8,500 kilometres of roads in South Australia’s Metropolitan Zone and Regional North Zone.
