CBD Decides to Return Wage Subsidy

Cannasouth Limited’s (NZX:CBD) subsidiary, Cannasouth Plant Research New Zealand Limited, applied for a wage subsidy of $85,726 and was granted through the Wage Subsidy Scheme of New Zealand Government.

However, as the company raised $6,024,853 from its capital raising initiatives, it has decided to withdraw the application for wage subsidy and repay the funds to the Ministry of Social Development.

At NZST 01:42PM, the stock was trading at $0.460 per share, down by 6.12% from its previous close.
