GD Goenka University Organizes International Media Workshop in Association with Mr. Christopher Conte, a Two-times Knight International Journalism Fellow and a Former News Editor of The Wall Street Journal

GD Goenka University, a leading new age university driven by a passion for excellence in education, hosted 2^nd International media workshop on "Beyond the Inverted Pyramid - The Enduring Power of Narrative" theme. The two-day international conference was inaugurated by Mr. Christopher Conte, two-times Knight International Journalism Fellow and a former News Editor of The Wall Street Journal and Prof. Dr. Deependra Kumar Jha, Pro Vice Chancellor, GD.Goenka University. The conference was attended by eminent industry leaders and experts along with industry stalwarts presenting their views and observations on the Narrative Writing.

During the highly interactive workshop, Mr. Christopher Conte shared with the participants, deep insights into narrative writing and explained how to look beyond news and craft analytical, in depth and descriptive reports as a journalist. This was the second workshop that was conducted by the School of Communication this year.

The School of Communication is currently offering Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) in Journalism & Mass Communication, Master of Arts (M.A.) in Social Media and Media Management, Post-graduate Diploma in Event Management and Social Media Marketing.
