Deforestation of Brazilian Amazon falls 11%, annual gov't data shows

SAO PAULO, Nov 30 (Reuters) - Deforestation in Brazil's Amazon rainforest fell 11.27% in the 12 months through July 2022 to 11,568 square kilometers (4,466 square miles), the country's space research agency INPE said on Wednesday. (Reporting by Jake Spring Editing by Brad Haynes)
