The field trial by Lithium Australia NL's (ASX: LIT) 90% owned subsidiary company Envirostream Australia Pty Ltd produces promising results during the initial outcomes.
Envirostream is conducting a farming field study for using zinc and manganese, extracted as by-products during recycling of alkaline batteries, in plant fertilisers as micronutrients to conventional mono-ammonium phosphate (MAP) fertiliser.
The field results show these by-products are immensely promising as a micronutrient for broad acre farming. The plants which received these fertilisers will be harvested in mid-December 2020 for grain sampling to complete the study.
On 11 November 2020, at AEST:1:16 PM, LIT was trading at AUD 0.053, up by 1.923%.
