John Symond steps down as Chairman of mortgage broker Aussie

John Symond has withdrawn as Chairman of Aussie Home Loans, the popular steamroller mortgage broker firm. Symond founded the company around 29 years ago. The firm has been a major player in the industry of financial services and helped grow a sector that is today responsible for providing the maximum number of home loans to the people of Australia.

Symond, while retiring, shared that his departure from the role has arrived at a terrific time for the Company when it is registering record loan settlements, in spite of the pandemic, and has a powerful management team led by his nephew James.  

Aussie Home Loans, now simply addressed as Aussie, was established in 1992 and so far, has assisted more than 1.3 million people with their home loans.
