The Fujita Kanko Group is one of Japan’s leading hospitality firms, operating 61 diverse properties throughout Japan and in other parts of Asia. From boutique hotels to business hotels, through restaurants, leisure facilities and even wedding venues, Fujita Kanko has much to offer.

We’ve now made it even easier for travel agents and other industry professionals to book bespoke trips for FIT travel via a dedicated email booking service. Get in touch via [email protected] and our UK-based reps will do the rest for you.

To whet your appetite for a trip to the Land of the Rising Sun, we’ve selected a few of our favourite properties in the Fujita Kanko group.

Hotel Gracery Naha, Okinawa

Naha is the vibrant capital of Okinawa, Japan's balmy southernmost territory. Hotel Gracery Naha sits in the centre of Kokusai-dori, the main shopping and entertainment district for the whole island. It’s lined with excellent shops and welcoming izakaya (Japanese pubs), with a lively atmosphere until late at night.

The tropical island of Okinawa boasts beautiful beaches, a rich cultural history that’s distinct from the rest of Japan, and wonderful natural life. We recommend hiring a sightseeing taxi to explore all the island has to offer – and don't miss the chance to sample the delicious offerings of unique Okinawan cuisine. The hotel’s breakfast buffet features a variety of tasty local specialties, and you'll find even more options along Kokusai-dori and beyond.

This property has 198 rooms, over half of which are a generous 22m2. This ensures a comfortable stay for all our guests whether they’re dropping in for a couple of days or a whole fortnight.

Hakone Kowakien Hotel, Hakone

Hakone is a historic luxury resort in the mountains near Tokyo – a home away from home and an escape from the bustling metropolis where generations of holidaymakers have relaxed their cares away in the many natural hot springs in the area. It’s the perfect hideaway for visitors who want to experience Japan’s exquisite high-end spa culture, or who fancy hiking in one of the largest national parks in the country.

Hakone Kowakien Hotel is the group’s newest hotel, opening last July. This ultra-modern facility is perfect both for families and for group tours. It features 150 rooms, each at least 30m², providing every guest has enough space to truly unwind.

There are all the facilities you’d expect from a purpose-built 21st century hotel, including a fantastic bar and a play area for kids. The top floor boasts a spacious open-air bath, where guests can bask in the stunning beauty of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Meals are served buffet-style for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering a delightful mix of Japanese and Western cuisine (available if you choose the meal-inclusive plan). The hotel is conveniently located near the Kihinkan soba restaurant and the Geihinkan shabu shabu and teppanyaki restaurant – both of which are housed in beautifully preserved historic local buildings.

Hotel Gracery Sapporo, Hokkaido

Hokkaido is Japan’s northernmost island – a comparative wilderness inhabited by all manner of iconic wildlife, including brown bears, killer whales and the symbol of Japan: the red-crested crane. It’s an outdoor paradise, full of national parks, nature reserves and imposing mountains – and during the winter it becomes one of the top winter sports destinations in the world.

Hotel Gracery Sapporo is a premium location in Sapporo, Hokkaido’s pretty capital city. With 2m residents, it’s a big place – but it feels completely different to the likes of Tokyo, Kyoto and Japan’s other big cities. The hotel is in a prime location near Sapporo Station, and it’s the ideal base for sightseeing throughout the island.

Odori Park is right in the centre of the city, the venue for the YOSAKOI Soran Festival in summer and the Sapporo Snow Festival in winter, and it’s just 15 minutes from the hotel.

With 440 rooms, Hotel Gracery Sapporo is well suited to individual travellers (FIT) and to groups.
