World First Musical Proposal Inspires Single And London Premiere

A love story that began in medical school and reached its most cinematic moment with what is believed to be a world-first proposal at Abbey Road Studio One is now being shared through music.

Christina Teenz Tan and Ron Danziger are both neurology residents and lifelong creatives.

Their relationship – which spans a decade of shared work across music, science, and medicine – reached new heights in 2021 when Danziger proposed to Tan at Abbey Road’s iconic Studio One during the recording of another co-written piece, Pie-in-the-Sky.

Surrounded by the full 78-member Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Robert Ziegler, the moment marked what is believed to be the first marriage proposal in the legendary studio.

Tan and Danziger’s award-winning co-written song, 'Timeless', will be performed on 19 June 2025 at St Giles Church, as part of the Summer Music in City Churches Festival.

The couple will also walk down the aisle to 'Timeless' when they marry at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles on 14 June 2025.

'Timeless' will also be released as a brand new single on 27 June 2025 on Signum Records. It has been recorded by Britain’s Got Talent Star
and global voice Tom Ball, alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and London Voices Choir conducted by Robert Zeigler. After celebrating a Top 5 UK album in 2024 and becoming a first-time father following a widely documented IVF journey, Ball boldly steps into the classical crossover world with this career-defining new single.

Across all versions, Timeless has collected 40 international awards for excellence in music and artistic direction, including Best Lyrics at the International Music Video Awards.

Composer Ron Danziger said: “Timeless captures the essence of our story—one of deep connection across worlds of science and music. To celebrate our wedding with this piece feels like coming full circle.”

Songwriter Christina Teenz Tan added: “Writing the lyrics to Timeless was a way of capturing how I saw our journey then. Hearing it now—fully realised with an orchestra, and sung on stage—it feels like our love set to music.”

Timeless was composed by Danziger with lyrics by Tan, arranged by Manu Martin, directed by Susan Lim and co-produced by Lim & Martin. The track was mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone - two of the industry’s most respected engineers with a combined 12 Grammy Awards, having worked with Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and more.
