London, June 2025: Spacemade has launched Studio Y, West London’s first flexible workspace tailored to the business side of fashion and beauty. Opening at the Yellow Building in Notting Dale Campus, the 19,000 sq ft space is designed for entrepreneurs, marketers, content creators, and service providers - those powering fashion’s commercial engine and supporting the full business lifecycle of fashion and beauty brands.

While East London dominates maker spaces, Studio Y by Spacemade fills a critical gap in West London, offering a dedicated workspace for small to medium brands as well as D2C businesses, resellers, consultants, stylists, content creators, marketing, talent and PR agencies - those fueling growth, visibility, and innovation. With a focus on community and connection, it brings together the area’s underserved creative sector, creating a dynamic setting where brands can connect, collaborate, and thrive.

As the UK’s flexible workspace market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 11.4% through 2034, sector-specific spaces are becoming increasingly vital (Expert Market Research). With the D2C online apparel market set to expand by 14.2% annually and the UK’s resale and second-hand fashion sector now valued at £7 billion, the demand for spaces that support ecommerce and resell-focused brands is accelerating (Statista, Business Green). Studio Y by Spacemade taps into these growth areas, establishing a hub where brands can scale, connect, and align with the rise of conscious consumption.

Situated within Notting Dale Campus, home to Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, Monsoon, Dune, Penelope Chilvers, Mario Testino, Rodial and Nip + Fab, Studio Y by Spacemade places emerging talent alongside some of fashion and beauty’s most influential names. The campus also features a striking contemporary art collection, including works by David Hockney, Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, creating a vibrant creative ecosystem.

Studio Y by Spacemade is more than a workspace - it’s a fashion-forward community where connections drive business growth. From hospitality-led spaces and curated events to a dedicated community team, every aspect is designed to foster genuine relationships and industry collaboration. The space also includes a bookable event lounge for editor previews, networking, and peer-to-peer events, providing opportunities for visibility and connection within London’s creative network.

Jonny Rosenblatt, Co-Founder of Spacemade: “Our vision is to create a mini ecosystem where fashion businesses, both small and large, can thrive. By providing proximity to other fashion-related enterprises, we aim to foster meaningful connections and new opportunities within this industry.”

Peter Simon, visionary founder of Monsoon and Accessorize and the creative mind behind Notting Dale Campus: “We are excited to partner with Spacemade to bring Studio Y to the iconic Yellow Building at Notting Dale Campus. As a vibrant hub for fashion and beauty brands, this location embodies the creative energy and innovation that West London is renowned for.”

As they get ready to launch, Spacemade is inviting a small group of founding members to be part of something special from the start.
