Sumo Digital has eight game and development studios across the UK and one in Pune, India. The group's Atomhawk business operates through Atomhawk Design Ltd, is a visual design company that engaged in providing services to the film, TV, visual effects and games industries, founded in 2009. The group has its studios in Canada, Newcastle, Vancouver, and United Kingdom, its projects include Avengers: Age of Ultron, Minecraft Earth, Injustice 2, FIFA 20, and Mortal Kombat 11.

The group’s co technologies include proprietary tools, project systems, game engine and project management software. In 2020, the group acquired Pipeworks, engaged in developing innovative gameplay and advanced technology for established and emerging IP, its clients include google, Electronic Arts, Age of Learning, Wizards of the Coast, and Genvid.
