It was founded in the year 2005 as a debt purchasing company, and has its headquarters in Manchester, United Kingdom. Over the years, the company has expanded its operations in various regions and has enhanced the asset class it manages. Now, it has become a fully integrated investment and asset manager. It is listed and traded publicly on the London Stock Exchange publicly since 2013.

The company has become a leader of managing non-performing and non-core assets in the European market. The business operations of the group can be segmented into three broad divisions: Asset Management, Origination and Underwriting, and Repayment-hybrid collections mode.  The business model of the company focuses on investment management and developing a discretionary fund to exploit the available opportunities in the market. Both secured as well as unsecured loans are identified, acquired, and managed by the group.

It also manages properties and real estate portfolio at the behest of various financial institutions, such as banks, specialist lenders, and institutional fund investors. They also include telecommunication firms, retail chains, utility companies etc.  The company’s goal is to provide its customers with efficient and affordable repayment programmes which help them in improving their credit score, and to support and aid the financial institutions in maintaining a sound balance sheet through recapitalization, which further helps in increasing their lending capacity and enhancing their profits.
