Great Portland Estates PLC (LON: GPOR) is a property investment and development company having £2.6 billion of real estate in central London. The company’s property portfolio consists of purpose-built new developments, carefully refurbished spaces, and historic buildings for commercial, residential and retail use. With its joint venture (JV) partners, Great Portland has invested in and developed various of its well-known properties, including 240 Blackfriars Road, SE1, 95 Wigmore Street, W1, 160 Old Street, EC1, and W1, among others. At 31 March 2020, the company’s JVs accounted for 25.8 per cent of its portfolio valuation, 29.4 per cent of net assets and 19.3 per cent of the rent roll. Great Portland is a part of the FTSE 250 index.
