A senior figure in a Brisbane performing arts company is facing 69 charges including sexual assault and rape, allegedly committed against eight boys and men over two decades.
The 41 year-old Bridgeman Downs man allegedly used his standing in the company to offend against former students and employees between 2001 and 2021.
The alleged victims were between 12 and 20 years old.
A second man, 35, who also worked with the theatre company was involved in the offending against one of the victims, police will allege.
Detective Inspector John Mison said the two men are known to each other and worked together.
"We've conducted quite a thorough and intense investigation ... where we've produced all this information to ... progress with the search warrants today," he said on Friday.
"I can confirm that they were actively engaged with their employment as of today."
The 41-year-old man has been charged with 69 offences including indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, rape, attempted rape, recordings in breach of privacy, fraud and common assault.
They were allegedly committed in the Brisbane suburbs of Ferny Hills, New Farm, Carindale, Gaythorne and Stafford.
The 35-year-old man has been charged with six offences including rape, attempted rape and sexual assault.
Both men are expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.
