Zostel, the top rated Indian chain of branded hostels for backpackers, announced the launch of its first international hostel in Vietnam. This milestone has made Zostel one of the only contemporary start-ups in the Indian Travel & Hospitality space which has successfully managed to expand its operations internationally.

Located in Dalat, with the hills, pine forests, and lakes as its backdrop, the location of the latest Zostel is set to give the travelers sheer joy of a picturesque view and memorable experience. Post the successful launch of its first property in the country, Zostel plans to further expand its presence soon with a property in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, which is known for its centuries-old architecture and rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences.

Zostel's first Vietnamese hostel has been established under the Zostel Entrepreneurship Development Programme, a one-of-its-kind initiative by Zostel designed to aid aspiring entrepreneurs to start their own Zostels with the performance linked seed amount of Rs 10 Lakhs. This is the 1st Zostel to come from the Program and 21 hostels are at the development stage.

Commenting on the announcement, Akhil Malik, co-founder, Zostel said, "It's a great milestone for us at Zostel. We plan to further build our global presence following in the same franchise model in Nepal and Sri Lanka by establishing 3 unique properties in each location by the end of 2015, taking the total number of hostels to 40 across national and international destinations."
