Ms. Pyzik will lead business development and investor relations for Asia-Pacific region

LOS ANGELES & SYDNEY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CIM Group announced today the continued expansion of its Institutional Client Group with the appointment of Melannie Pyzik as Managing Director to oversee business development and investor relations in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Ms. Pyzik will be based in Sydney.

“CIM Group has seen growing engagement in the APAC region, collaborating with institutional investors who find our investment platform, which includes alternative assets such as real estate, infrastructure, and credit, closely aligned with their strategic focus. We remain committed to our presence in this region, and with the addition of an experienced leader like Melannie to guide our efforts, we look forward to strengthening relationships and supporting the growth of local businesses,” said Jason Fisher, Managing Director and Global Head of Institutional Sales who oversees the Institutional Client Group at CIM Group.

Melannie Pyzik has nearly 25 years of experience in real assets investing across APAC, EMEA, and North America. She brings to CIM Group a deep knowledge of private markets investing, particularly in infrastructure, having invested across a wide range of subsectors including energy, utilities, transportation, digital infrastructure and energy transition. Ms. Pyzik has a long and proven track record in capital formation and business development, having successfully grown private markets funds management platforms. This experience has given her great insight and understanding of the institutional investor market globally.

Before joining CIM Group, Ms. Pyzik was Co-Lead Partner and Head of the Investor Solutions team at Argo Infrastructure Partners, where she also served on the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to that, Ms. Pyzik held senior roles at QIC in the Infrastructure Group and at Credit Suisse in the Pensions Coverage Group. She started her career at Macquarie Group, where she spent almost a decade in the Investment Banking Group, working across EMEA, North America and APAC on infrastructure funds and transactions.

“Leading CIM Group’s growth in the APAC region is an exciting opportunity. With a large number of sophisticated investors in the region showing strong demand for alternatives and private markets strategies, CIM Group’s capabilities and track record are well-suited to this discerning market. I look forward to strengthening existing and creating new relationships for CIM Group across the region,” said Pyzik.

CIM Group’s Institutional Client Group also appointed Albert Yang to oversee business development and investor relations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), another key international region. Based in London, Mr. Yang brings more than 23 years of experience in private markets with a strong track record in capital formation of real asset strategies and establishing new regional investment capabilities.
