K9 Gold Corp. is a publicly listed mineral exploration and development firm that operates in the metal and mining industry. The primary business of K9 Gold is concerned with the discovery, acquisition, exploration and development of mineral resources, mainly precious metal properties.
K9 Gold is a TSXV-listed company with ordinary shares trading under the stock quote KNC. The natural resource miner is also listed on the United States-based OTC Pink Market and the Germany-based Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the trading symbols WDFCF and 5GP, respectively.
The Vancouver-based explorer holds a 100 per cent ownership stake in the Stony Lake Project that sits within CRVL mineral trend. It is a gold project that encompasses a total land area of 13,025 hectares in central Newfoundland.
The mineralization at Stony Lake is comprised of quartz-hosted porphyry and a vein-structured mineral system. The project is located close to the Moosehead Discovery (by Sokoman) and Valentine Lake Mine (operator Marathon). In 2019, after a field exploration program, the company discovered eight zones with high-grade gold anomalies.
In addition, K9 Gold Corp also owns a 100 per cent stake in the Desert Eagle Project within Garfield County in Utah, US. It is a vanadium project that consists of 97 mineral lode claims spread over a land package of 2,004 acres.
The Desert Eagle site used to host past-producing vanadium and uranium projects dating back to the early 1900s. The project is well connected via state highways and roads.
The company is focused on exploration programs to identify new prospects and expand its mineral resource potential. K9 Gold Corp was originally incorporated in December 2007 according to the Business Corporations Act of Alberta and in March 2016, it extended into British Columbia with a head office in West Vancouver.
