Australia are on the verge of their most dominant Test series with the bat in history after Travis Head took the hosts to 4-436 at dinner on day two against the West Indies in Adelaide.
In another one-sided opening session on Friday, Labuschagne was the only Australian to fall, dismissed for 163 after combining with Head for a 297-run partnership.
Head remains unbeaten on 172, having already passed his highest score in Test cricket as he helps Australia push for a 2-0 series clean sweep.
As is often their plan off attack in day-night Tests, Australia will likely bat until the second break before declaring and giving themselves the new ball under lights at Adelaide Oval.
Without taking anything away from Head and Labuschagne, the West Indies bowling has at times looked pedestrian.
With debutant Marquino Mindley injured, only Alzarri Joseph has regularly been able to bowl at speeds of more than 130km/h while their lines and lengths have also been lacking.
And Australia have taken full advantage.
The hosts have now scored 1216 runs for the series for the loss of just 10 wickets, with the average of 121.6 only six runs shy of Australia's all-time highest.
Labuschagne also became the equal-second fastest to 3000 Test runs behind Don Bradman on Friday, bringing up the milestone in his 51st innings.
Still patient against the pink ball, he began the day by clipping Jason Holder off his pads for four in the first over, and later began reverse-sweeping Roston Chase.
When he was caught behind trying to square-drive Devon Thomas it came as something of a surprise, having offered few chances during his innings.
Head, in contrast, has been more flamboyant.
The left-hander has continued to slap and drive with power at anything outside off stump, while also flicking two balls in one over off Holder over midwicket and to the boundary.
