Tin: A metal with diversified uses

Tin is a common metal seen around us with diversified uses. It is a pliable,  non-toxic, highly malleable metal. It is generally used to coat other metals to avoid corrosion. Tin is commonly used for plating steel cans of food containers, for bearings of metals and solder.

At room temperature, Tin is a white metal which is soft, highly rust-resistant, and fatigue-resistant . Tin has a low melting point and alloys easily with other metals. It is also easier to recycle.
