- The final assays from Alchemy Resources’ (ASX:ALY) Karonie lithium drill program have confirmed the presence of fertile LCT pegmatites at the Hickory prospect.
- Spodumene and lepidolite were identified visually in hole HYRC006.
- Alchemy is considering using geophysics as a rapid method for defining targets for drill testing in this area.
Alchemy Resources (ASX:ALY) has reported outstanding final assays from the Karonie lithium drill program, validating the presence of fertile lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatites at the Hickory prospect.
At the Hickory prospect, mineralisation was identified visually in the form of spodumene and lepidolite in hole HYRC006. The mineralisation was confirmed via chemical assays, ultraviolet response and laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) analysis.
The latest drilling at Hickory has revealed that the pegmatites continue under cover to the north. Based on this outcome, Alchemy is considering using geophysics as a rapid method for defining targets for drill testing in this area.
