What are eco-friendly spaces?

Being eco-friendly implies that the space is not contributing any negative effects on the environment in both long and short term. We are currently surrounded with plastic and other waste that flows into the environment for decades. Thus, we need to transform our spaces into eco-friendly places so that least waste is produced from our end.

  • Training is a must: Not everybody understands the core meaning of sustainability and eco-friendliness, thus a detailed orientation regarding the deteriorating climate is needed. The committee can enlighten the members of the company on how they can contribute towards the betterment of the environment.
  • Awareness and impact: The next step is to invoke awareness regarding how a small change can help multiple effects. For instance, employees should be made aware of how they can rather use recyclable products and discard the non-eco-friendly inputs.
  • Reward is the key: Human beings are motivated by incentives. Thus, the management should employ incentives for building an eco-friendly space; so that all the employees work towards it religiously.
