Founded in 1929, Serco Group PLC is a UK-based public services provider with its headquarters in Hampshire, England. It was initially called RCA Services Limited and rebranded itself as Serco in 1987. It is publicly listed on the London Stock Exchange and is part of the FTSE 250 index. The company employs over 50,000 people and manages over 500 contracts across the globe. It primarily operates in the UK and has its contracts in Continental Europe, the Middle East, the Asia Pacific region and North America and covers over 20 countries. The sectors covered by the company under public services include health, transportation, justice and immigration, defence, and other services. The primary source of income for Serco is from carrying out government services. 

The UK wing of the company offers services to the government, which include citizen services, defence, health, justice and immigration, transport. It also provides the same services to the UK devolved authorities and other public sector customers. In the US, the company offers services to the US federal as well as civilian agencies, some states and municipal corporations, which include defence, transportation and civilian services.

It also provides the same services to the Canadian Government. In the Asia-Pacific region, the services are provided via AsPac, which include defence, justice and migration, transportation and citizen services. Also, the Middle East offers services for sectors, including citizen services, defence, health and transport in the Middle East region, and corporate, which includes central and head office costs.
