Founded in 2000, Everyman Media Group Plc is a UK-based leading independent cinema group in terms of cinema venues, screens, and admissions. The company was floated when Daniel Broch bought the original Everyman Cinema, which was established in 1933. At present, the company operates 33 cinemas with 110 screens that are located across Altrincham, Brimingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Chelmsford, Clitheroe, Esher, Gerrards Cross, Glasgow, Harrogate, Horsham, Leeds, Lincoln, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Oxted, Reigate, Statford-Upon-Avon, Walton-On-Thames, Winchester, Wokingham, Wokingham, York. The group’s shares are traded on the London Stock Exchange as LON: EMAN since 2013.

The group aims to expand its portfolio of venues and successfully growing its existing assets by bringing together great food, environment, drinks, services and films that will enhance customer experience. The group positions its brand at the premium end of the UK leisure/cinema market and its assets are based on high quality and unique venues in central high street locations. It delivers high-quality offerings through its venues, staff, food, drinks and content.  The group’s multi-faceted growth strategy include expanding the geographical footprints by establishing new venues in order to reach new customers, engaging in effective marketing activity and continuously evolving the quality of experience and breadth we offer at our venues.

In 2020, the group had planned to open its six new venues but due to pandemic the two venues, Chelsea and Lincoln were completed during the period and opened in the summer. The group’s subsidiaries include Everyman Media Limited and Everyman Media Holdings Limited, both of which are engaged in the cinema management and ownership.
