Ibstock Plc is a leading manufacturer of clay bricks and concrete building products since more than 200 years, headquartered in the village of Ibstock in England, UK. The group first got listed on London stock exchange in 1963. CRH PLC acquired Ibstock in 1999 and expanded its clay and concrete business in UK with the acquisition of Kevington Building products ltd in 2001, Manchester Brick in 2005, Supreme concrete ltd in 2006 and Anderton concrete products ltd in 2007. In 2015 Ibstock and CRH’s subsidiaries were acquired by Bain Capital and in the same year Ibstock got listed on London stock exchange again as LON: IBST. The group decided to dispose of US brick manufacturing business Glen Gery in 2018 to fully focus on the UK market and in 2019 the group acquired Longley concrete to expand its concrete business. The group aims to deliver world class performance with the focus on health and safety, continuous growth and sustainability, delivering innovative products to fulfill the changing needs of customers and the built environment and to continuously grow and expand organically and selective M&A opportunities. Ibstock is the largest manufacturer of bricks in UK with 36 manufacturing sites and 2,044 employees across the UK. The group has 220 million tonnes of clay reserves and resources.

The group offers a range of products through products groups that are Walling, Roofing, Rail and Infrastructure, Flooring and groundwork, Garden & Landscaping and Bespoke product and services. The Walling product group includes Clay Bricks, special shapes bricks, arches and stones. Roofing includes roof tiles, roof window system, roofing accessories and chimneys. Rail and infrastructure includes Inspection chambers and troughing. Flooring and groundwork includes floor beams, door steps, gully surrounds and screed rails. Garden & landscaping includes fencing, bollards, path edging and caps and copings. Bespoke product and services includes Cut and Bond and Engraving. Further, the group’s innovative products are SL8 roof tiles, MechSlip, Brickwork components and Anderlite throughs.

The group operates through two divisions that are- Ibstock Clay and Ibstock Concrete. Ibstock Clay segment has 16 manufacturing sites in UK that offers bricks, prefabricated elements, precast solutions, bespoke products and brick-faced façade systems for both low-rise and high-rise developments through its two brand- Ibstock Kevington and Ibstock Brick. The Ibstock Concrete has 14 manufacturing sites in UK offering high quality precast concrete products for residents, landscaping market and infrastructure market through its brands- Longley, Anderton, Forticrete and Supreme and it is organized into three product groups: Fencing, Roofing, Walling and Cast Stone.
