Thor Explorations Ltd is a junior precious metals mining company. It is primarily interested in unexplored gold projects in West Africa.

The Vancouver-based gold exploration company is involved in three projects.

Segilola Gold Property

It is located in the Osun State in north-eastern Lagos, Nigeria. The gold project consists of one exploration claim spanning a total area of 27 square kilometers, including one mineral license covering a total area of approximately 17.2 square kilometers.

Segilola is the flagship project of the company that hosts a prospective open-pit gold mineralization. The probable reserves at the project site are estimated to be 518,000 ounces of gold at a gold grade of 4.02 grams per ton.

Douta Project

Douta Project is situated close to the main transcurrent shear zone in the eastern part of Senegal. The Douta is a gold project with a mineral exploration license spanning a total area of 103 square kilometers.

The firm’s wholly owned subsidiary African Star Resources Incorporated holds 70 per cent interest in the exploration permit held by IMC. The project is adjacent to the Makabingui mine, and Massawa and Sabadola deposits.

Central Hounde Project

Central Hounde Project is situated along the Hounde Greenstone Belt in west Burkina Faso. The property includes three exploration licenses spanning a total area of nearly 474 square kilometers.

Thor Exploration Ltd owns a 100 per cent stake of the property through its 100 per cent subsidiaries.

The gold explorer mainly focuses on conducting drill and development programs to evaluate the current prospects and identify more targets onsite.

On June 22, 2021, Thor Exploration Inc listed and began trading its common stock on the AIM Market (London Stock Exchange) under the ticker ‘THX’.
