OPEC+ agreed for deeper oil output cuts on December 06, 2019 (Friday)

  • Crude prices edged higher as OPEC countries and its allies supported deeper oil output cuts to minimise a supply glut in 2020 and to sustain oil prices.
  • International Oil benchmark Brent Oil jumped 2% higher at $64.68/bbl, and American Oil benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) surged 1.93% to $59.59/bbl, at the time of writing at 03:05 PM GMT.
