  • As on December 16, 2019, a Golden Cross formation has been spotted on the daily price-chart on the FTSE 100 index, as 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) reached 7,297.27 against 200-day EMA of 7,292.01. Golden Cross appears when the moving average of the short-term intersects the moving average of long-term, which is perceived to be a favourable technical trend.
