It could be due to leakage due to drop in pressure, or there could be higher pressure than usual, which may lead to a pipe burst. By 2024-2025, the company aims to reduce the leakage by 15% in a bid to improve the quality of the water supplied, 73% reduction in the internal sewer flooding, 22% reduction in external sewer flooding, 11% reduction in sewer blockage.
The company works in association with various authorities like other external flood authorities and associated partners to carry its operations in the most efficient way.
