Companies like BRM, NWF and APL announced their ex-dividend and payment dates in March despite disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In times, when companies are deferring or slashing their dividend payments, many small companies have continued to reward their shareholders with dividends.

Asset Plus Limited (NZX:APL)

APL paid an interim dividend of 0.294 cps for the quarter ended 31 December 2021. Imputation credits attached to the dividend are 0.069 cps. This dividend represents 50% of the historical dividend level post the September 2020 capital rising. The ex-dividend date was 17 March.

Earlier, the company had declared a quarterly dividend of 0.519, the ex-dividend date for which was 6 December 2021, and the payment date was 14 December 2021. APL had signalled the capital required to support the dividend during its capital raise last year. According to a report, the key focus area for the company remains the development of Munroe Lane and leasing the balance of that property.
