Eat Local NZ Forced Out of Business After Spat With Australian Player Mr Yum

NZ's locally built web app, Eat Local NZ was doing great business during alert 3 and was taking on global giants when an Australian operator Mr Yum allianced with the company and backed out of plan forcing the local app out of business.

Both the parties had come together for Mr Yum's expansion into New Zealand, but after a few weeks later, it backed out of the project and offered AUD 10,000 to buy the local app. A note on app's website says it has suspended trading.
