125 Community Connectors being established across kiwi nation to support recovery post COVID-19

Social Development Minister, Carmel Sepuloni announced that around 125 Community Connector positions are being created within the community and across the nation to help kiwis connect with the services they need to underpin recovery post-pandemic.

Community Connectors would facilitate people to procure the information and access they need from numerous government agencies and service providers, with a diverse geographical reach, specifically in the areas not serviced previously by Wh?nau Ora Commissioning agencies.

As a part of Community Wellbeing package, the Government’s investment in the Community Connectors Service is $41.25 million over two years.
