It operates 421 trading sites across Ireland, the UK and Mainland Europe. In the UK and Ireland, the company operates through its SIG brands that include interiors, insulation, construction accessories, technical insulation, roofing, and workplace. In France the company operates through its brand that includes Sig France, Litt and Lariviere and has leading positions in Specialist roofing, Technical insulation, structural insulation and interiors. In Germany, it operates through Sig Germany, Wego and VTI and has leading positions in technical insulation, structural insulation, and interiors. In Poland and Benelux, the company operates through Sig Poland and Isolatec, respectively.  The company’s shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange since 1989 as LON: SHI.

The company operates through two core product division that includes Insulation & Interior, and Roofing & Exteriors. The company has a leading position in insulation products and interiors fit across Europe and offers over 250,000 various products through its extensive branch network of 200 sites. Its product range includes tiles, slates, membranes, batten for pitched roofs, single-ply flat roof systems, industrial roofing, cladding systems, and room-in-roof panel systems, which are supplied to all commercial market sectors such as health care, offices, retail, education and leisure. It also provides solutions for ceiling, wall, and floor applications.

The company has a leading position in roofing products and solution across the UK and France. It offers a range of products that include structural and technical insulation; construction accessories and fixings; cladding and façade systems; dry lining; ceiling tiles and grids; partition walls, door sets, and floor coverings.
