Sokoman claims to have a joint venture partnership with Benton Resources Inc, and now operates on some of the most significant land holdings in Newfoundland, covering 150,000 hectares.

The company also acquired interest in an early-stage antimony/gold deposit located in Newfoundland. In addition, it holds 100 per cent stake in the Iron Horse project.

The mineral exploration firm primarily focuses on the high-grade Moosehead gold property in Newfoundland. The Abitibi Greenstone Belt, situated in Northern Ontario and Quebec, and the Golden Triangle province in British Columbia, tempted many Canadians mining firms.

The firm claims to have engaged in several discovery for the region’s geology, analysis of historical exploration reports, and field verification for the property selection and possession program.

After the possession of the Moosehead Project, Sokoman declared the establishment of a new zone of high-grade gold mineralization, recognized as the Eastern Trend, in 2018.

Sokoman operates diversified gold properties, including Moosehead Project, The Fleur de Lys Project, Grey River Gold Project, Kenpenkeck Gold Project (Sokoman-Benton JV), Golden Hope Project, CrippleBack Lake Project, Est Elder Project, StarTrek project and Iron Horse project.

Moosehead Project

The company owns 100 per cent stake in this property. It comprises 98 claims covering 2,450 hectares near the Trans-Canada-Highway in north-central Newfoundland. It is a very approachable orogenic lode gold property allowing exploration and development.

The project consists of excellent infrastructure, including assay lab, drill roads, and power sub-station.

Fleur de Lys Project

It is an orogenic vein-hosted gold properties representing underexplored, district-scale, gold goal inside the Newfoundland Appalachians.

Grey River Gold Project

It consists of 324 claims covering 8,100 hectares focused on an ice-free harbor located on the south coast of Newfoundland in approximately 38 kilometers southeast of the Golden Hope Joint Venture.

This property consists of a five-kilometer wide and ten km long corridor that organizes numerous gold and base metal mineralized zones, consisting of many mesothermal, Au-rich quartz veins.
