TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada's Quebec on Tuesday forecast a C$4 billion ($2.9 billion) budget deficit for fiscal 2023-24, narrowing from an expected C$5 billion in 2022-23.
The mostly French-speaking province is expecting to balance the budget in 2027-28 even as it forecasts economic growth to slow to just 0.6% in the 2023 calendar year.
