US stocks rebound on new stimulus hope
· Wall Street’s benchmark indices closed higher on Tuesday amid new earnings season and Janet Yellen’s call for more financial support for the coronavirus pandemic-hit economy.
· While the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 116.26 points, or 0.38 percent, to 30,930.52, the S&P 500 was up 30.66 points, or 0.81 percent, at 3,798.91. The Nasdaq Composite advanced 198.68 points, or 1.53 percent, to 13,197.18.
