Selling in Energy and Industrials Sectors Impacted Australian Market

On 12th October 2021, the equity market in Australia ended in red as the selling pressure on energy as well as industrials sectors weighed over the broader market. ASX 20 and ASX 300 witnessed a fall of 0.08% and 0.27%, respectively. On the same day, ASX 200 witnessed a fall of 0.26% to 7,280.70.

In the release dated 7th October 2021, Ansell Limited (ASX: ANN) made an announcement that it would be deploying ~$80 Mn over the time span of next 3 years to build the new manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, India.

Sims Ltd (ASX: SGM) rose by 4.618% to A$13.590 per share.

On 11th October 2021, NASDAQ Composite fell 0.64% to 14,486.20. Notably, Dow Jones Industrials Average declined 0.72% to 34,496.06.
