As per the recent quarterly update of the ACCC, more than 90k cars with deadly Takata airbags are still on the streets of Australian cities.
The ACCC also mentioned that more than 50% of these remain in just three of the largest capital cities in the country.
New data that highlight the places with most of the airbags still to be replaced indicate more than 46k of the remaining cars are in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, particularly in the outer suburbs area.
The ACCC also mentioned that these airbags can explode with too much force and are extremely dangerous.
